Arawak’s visit to the All Saints Primary School on February 26, turned out to be a high point of the company’s “Vulnerable Road Users” (VRU) programme when over 200 enthusiastic students including some special needs youngsters were educated on the ABCS’s of road safety.

Students were excited to learn about blind spots, cycling safety and road crossing tips as well as the dynamics of how cement is made. The thrill of taking pictures with Arawak’s employees and exploring inside the cab of the big truck remains a highlight for youngsters at all our VRU visits.
