During September, the lens is on Arawak’s latest training initiative… Fall Protection and Fall Arrest as the company continues to focus on health and safety best practices for ‘A SAFER WAY, ALL DAY’.

Members of the operations team along with contractors will benefit from a very engaging and informative programme as they learn about fall protection with specific emphasis on suspension trauma and preventative techniques for rescue and recovery through practical demonstrations.

*The company’s COVID-19 protocols are being strictly adhered to during training sessions in the best interest of each employee’s health and safety.

It could be difficult to keep the legs of unconscious victims in an upright position. Land Yard may be used to offer support for the legs. If you have to perform rescue alone, it is best to place victim against a wall while adjusting their position.
